Charming room, helpful staff, the lovely roof terrace was a delightful escape with beautiful views and a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast, while the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the historic center and only a short distance from public transport options.

The shared bathroom can get noisy, especially when guests are using it. Rooms on the first floor lack natural light and feel quite stuffy, even with a fan running. The Wi-Fi was down during my stay, limiting connectivity, and the balcony door in my room was a hassle to close properly—could even let rain in if not secured. There's no elevator, so lugging heavier bags up the steep stairs can be a challenge, and you'll need to ask for room cleaning to ensure it gets done.

On top of that, there was no lift, adding stress as I had to navigate heavy luggage up steep stairs. i stayed at pension espana for one night and was impressed. the terrace provided an amazing view for sunset, which made my city break even better. the location is perfect, with shops, bars, and the main square just a short walk away.
